TEC intervenes in Spain for the inspection of a rooftop on a logistics warehouse.

A METHODICAL PROJECT TO RESTORE SITE PERFORMANCE

Industrial roofs play a fundamental role in the preservation of goods and the smooth running of logistics warehouses. Poorly designed or maintained, they can become sources of water infiltration, compromising the integrity of buildings and the safety of products.

As part of an assignment in Spain, T.E.C. was asked to carry out a high-precision technical intervention on a logistics warehouse, in connection with a recurring waterproofing problem on the rooftop.

STAGES OF TECHNICAL INTERVENTION

To diagnose and correct the anomalies observed, our team implemented a multi-phase approach:

  • Dismantling the rooftop using a crane
Allowing complete and secure access to the structure for inspection.
  • Transport of components to the factory
For in-depth technical analysis in a controlled environment.
  • On-site inspections
Verification of installation, operating conditions and environmental factors.

This comprehensive approach enables us to pinpoint the origin of infiltrations: installation faults, premature ageing of materials, climatic conditions or maintenance faults.

RELIABLE, LONG-LASTING SOLUTIONS

Our aim is to provide the rooftop manufacturer with a documented technical diagnosis, enabling him to correct any malfunctions identified and restore the building’s watertight integrity.

T.E.C.’s proven methodology and ability to adapt enable us to offer sustainable, tailor-made solutions, whatever the geographical or logistical context.

TEC on assignment in Doha QATAR

A T.E.C. Expert worked for 1 week with the Quality teams at one of our customers’ factories to test the behavior of electrical components under extreme operating conditions.

On the roof terrace of a tower housing a 5-star hotel, our Expert set up a monitoring system to record the behavior of components in a 1.8 MW chiller cabinet operating at temperatures of over 50°C and humidity reaching 67% RH.

Our teams programmed and implemented
and set up an analysis protocol comprising :
– a central data acquisition system 16-channel acquisition unit with 10 current and voltage transducers and
– 4 temperature and humidity recorders
– 4 k-sensors.
– 8 temperature probes
– a 16-channel acquisition unit
– 1 thermal camera
– 9 current clamps.

Country: QATAR
City: Doha
Property concerned: 5-star hotel
Areas of expertise: Electrical engineering, HVAC, regulation
T.E.C. equipment implemented: Thermal camera, data acquisition system, T°C recorders and HR
